Candice currently is the RPS Women’s 148lb Amateur Submaster Raw Classic Division State Recorder Holder. She has been instructed by Paul Prather, Founder of Velocity Sports Performance. She also was taught strength and conditioning from Mr. Tom Martucci, M. S. at Bloomsburg University who was a wrestler and wrestling coach and trained the New Orleans Saints. When Candice is away from the gym she enjoys hiking, writing, fine arts, photography, and Vinyasa yoga.

Jose J Padilla

Jose brings with him 22 years of Army fitness knowledge and expertise to EFC. He was the program coordinator of the Physical Fitness Program for the US Army Recruitment School from 1998-2002. Developing individual and group fitness instruction which included PRE (partner resistance exercise) and functional fitness. Jose is the CEO/Founder of Over 40 fitness, a Facebook group for those over 40 years of age. The group is 10,000 strong and growing! They share ideas, advice, and encouragement for members to help them achieve goals on their fitness journey. 

His unique background in military style training and fitness, plus his time spent in the US Army Special Forces Unit, 7th SFGA, makes Jose a perfect trainer for those looking to go to the next level with their fitness or for someone wanting to get back in to fitness after recovering from an injury.

Jose joined the US Army at the young age of 17. The Army Special Forces Unit became his home for the next 12 years. After combat injuries, he left the Special Forces community and completed a long career in the US Army Recruitment Command, which subsequently brought Jose to become a resident of Pa.

Along with his passion for fitness and helping others, Jose enjoys hunting, fishing and cooking up some of his favorite dishes including his famous empanadas!

Jen obtained her personal training certification through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) in August 2018 after being actively involved in fitness and wellness for over a decade. She is currently an NPC National Level Figure Competitor and recent Overall Figure Champion in June 2018, as well as a current staff member for the NPC Mid Atlantic Zone, where Jen is an expeditor backstage for fitness competitions in the PA/DE/MD area. Jen works as a nurse full time, and has been in nursing for almost 10 years.
